Welcome to HHC, a place where Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing come
together under one name... Christ!
HHC was created solely with the intention of reaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Mid Central Indiana with
the word of Christ. Established in 1992, we have faithfully followed the direction and re-direction of our Lord and Savior.
As an independent, non-denominational ministry we have been blessed to be involved with the deaf in many types of churches.
Additionally, serving them in traditional religious and non-traditional secular settings.

A Note from the Director
As you may know the camp trip is over for this year. We had the best trip of all. We came back with another deaf young
christian ready and willing to serve the Lord. His name is Nick Barger-Touchon. He is 17 so he
will need lots of prayer. Along with his decision to accept Christ as his Savior, we had several of our kids go forward
for prayer. One of the young women with us had some special prayer requests... just know that she and her
family covat your prayers. They need the Lord to really be present in their lives right now. Her name is Kristin
Ogan and she also is 17. Then, just today... a long time deaf friend of mine, Larry
Odenthal, came to visit and brought me some very sad news. He found out yesterday that he has Esophageal Cancer. He
will have a scope on Tue. in Kokomo. Then depending on the outcome will have surgery down at IU Med Center. Please keep
him in your prayers. I won't tell you how old he is because he is sitting with me as I am typing this...lolol (he is very
observant). Then.... my neighbor, Mike Justine, He is severly
hard of hearing. He has diabetes and a couple days ago discovered an ulcer on his foot. It is very painful, he is also haveing
mystery pain in his legs. He goes Monday to have dye injected into the veins of both legs to determine the extent of his circulation
problems. Please keep him in your prayers... and me as well as I have been playing nurse to Mike. Then...
I found out this morning that one of our deaf friends in the nursing home fell over the weekend and is in the hospital with
a possible broken hip.... she just had a hip replacement about 6 weeks ago.! ... her name is Rosemary. And, last but not least school starts the 12th. Please keep me in mind as I work with the school
system in Kokomo as an interpreter in the middle schools... that Christs love will be present in my demeanor
and that I will be able to be an effective witness there. So much is going on with HHC right now. I'm
sure each person mentioned above would covet your prayers. We love you all and know you will help us patition the Lord for
healing and comfort. Please continue to pray for the deaf outreach here in Indiana. In His Service Kerri
